Snack

We encourage children to purchase a snack or bring their own snack to consume at first break.

Snack is available to purchase from school daily.

Snack for children in Reception - Year 6 is 20-30p per portion (prices vary depending upon snack item)

Snack for children in Nursery  is 10p per portion (50p per week).  

Nursery children need to bring in their money at the start of the week in a labelled envelope/purse/wallet.

Children in Reception - Year 6 need to bring their money in a named envelope/wallet/purse.  

Children in Years 1 & 2 will be given a safe place to store their money in their classrooms. 

School snack for the Autumn term:

Snacks brought in from home need to be healthy.  

Ideas for an acceptable snack are:

Fruit

Vegetables (e.g. carrot sticks)

Bread sticks

Crackers

Items that are not permitted are as follows:

Crisps

Items containing chocolate

Any items containing nuts

Sweets 

High sugar items

Fizzy drinks
