Sandbach Primary Academy Nursery Provision

Our Nursery is the first steps of our children’s journey through Sandbach Primary Academy and we strive to ensure that they all have nothing but the best start in their ‘school’ life.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by some wonderful grounds. We have access to all of the school’s resources and different areas including: a woodland area, a garden area for planting, an outdoor classroom and a large field for endless opportunities for learning and fun. We value the outdoor environment and see it as a continuation of our indoor environment to extend our learning. 

We are very proud of the care and support we provide both our children and their families. We understand that all children are unique and learn in different ways. The day to day activities are adapted to suit the needs and interests of the children to make their time with us both stimulating and fun.

Three and Four Year Old Provision

Our nursery offers morning and full day sessions for 3 and 4 year olds.

Morning Session 8.40am to 11.45am

Full Day Session 8.40am to 3.15pm

Children attending for a full day can bring a packed lunch or buy lunch from school for £2.45. Free school meals are available to children attending two full days or more whose parents meet certain criteria.

All children are entitled to a 15 hour free early years education place from the term following their third birthday. If both parents are working, three and four year olds may be entitled to an additional 15 hours free if they meet certain Government criteria.

Parents can book extra regular sessions each term on top of the 15 hours, if space is available. The current paid session rate is £15, full day £30.

Two Year Old Provision

Our nursery offers morning sessions for two year old children from the term following their second birthday.

Morning Session 8.40am to 11.45am

Two year old children from families meeting economic criteria, or children who are cared for, can apply for 15 hours free nursery places.

From 1st April 2024 working parents who meet the Government criteria can also apply for 15 hours nursery places.
